I don’t see it with Michigan unless they assume they just fill in for Ohio State. Oklahoma should be higher because the Big 12 is still a 2-team league and Texas lost a lot. LSU should be lower I like them a lot but schedule is too strong. Everything else looks about right.

I think they should drop Florida below Missouri until they prove they can beat them...jk

Agree on meatchikin. But winning the B1G is no guarantee of a CFP spot. As long as Harbaugh is there they’ve come as close as they ever will. And that’s not close. I predicted their last season collapse, and will admit I was highly amused to see y’all kick their asses.

Harbaugh turning playcalling over to a tempo OC is getting way too much credit.

Well way I see it right now is Clemson and Oklahoma are damn near locks. So you have 4 conferences competing for two spots. This might sound blasphemous but I honestly think this is the year the SEC might not get in...not because they're not good enough but because the teams might kill each other.

I mean A&M is being picked like 4th in their division and they'd win the win every conference but the ACC I think. And that's only because of Clemson. There are gonna be three SEC teams in the top 5, and 5 in the top 10. I can see the top SEC teams a with 2 losses at the end of the year.

The CHOKE-la-homa Swooners haven't finished with less than 2 losses for the last 14 seasons.
I don't see that changing any time soon...

Why the flipping hell is Tennessee at 2%? They have won what? 1 SEC game, oh wait 2 in the past 2 seasons combined. They haven't improved their talent level over the past 2 years and they still don't have a head coach. In what plane of reality could they possibly beat everyone on their schedule this year and make it to the playoff?????

At BEST they have a 2% chance to actually make a BOWL game this year for the first time in however long it's been.

As bad as it's been with the musclecramp and McLame, the Gator have still won 2 NC's since the last time the Chokers won one...
i.e. UF 24 - 14 Chokers --- :D:p:D

LSU, Michigan, UGA, and Alabama are all too high...

Schedules are too difficult.

7. UF's (7) -- Opponents Rankings according to Athlon Sports:
(ESPN Rankings)

23. Auburn (23) -- Homecoming
20. @ Mizzou (22)
9. @ LSU (10)
3. UGly (3) - WLOCP
-----
1. UA (2) -- possible SEC-C game opponent

Note: Tennis-sea and Miami (Orlando) were both just outside of the preseason Top 25 rankings.

While @ SCa, @ UK, VU, and FSU won't exactly be 'patsy' opponents...

ESPN's SEC teams in the Top 8 for the 2019 CFP.
(not to be confused with the preseason Top 25 Polls)

2. UA - Likely SEC-C game
4. UGly - WLOCP
6. @ LSU
-----
9. UF (10%) would likely have to beat all 3 of them to even make the CFP...

Top 8 Schools with a much easier path to the CFP:
1. Clemp's-son - ACC
3. Meatchickens - BigTen-12
5. Choke-la-homa - Big-12-10-whatever
7. Neutered Lame - In-depends / ACC
8 Orey-gone Quackers - LAC-12
=====

Other SEC's in the ESPN poll with a chance to make the CFP
11. Allbarn - UF's Homecoming opponent
15. aTm
16. MsSt
17. Tennis-sea - UF opponent
18. @ Misery - UF opponent

Clemson is a shoe in. Even if they happened to lose a game they will still get in. They aren’t losing more than 1 game with their schedule. Oklahoma doesn’t play anybody either so they have a good shot.

OU usually finds a game they shit the bed in during the season and eliminate themselves. I suspect Georgia will do the same this year.

Very observant. Didn’t notice, but surprised.
As someone else mentioned, they did lose a lot on both sides. I think they’ll be better than expected. The media who make these predictions are hesitant to put much stock in an unknown quantity

Agreed but even with 1 loss Oklahoma will back their way in to the playoffs. They don’t have a tough enough schedule to lose 2 games.

2018 Choke-la-homa -- 12-2
When do they EVER have a tough schedule in the has-been Big-whatever?

2018 went 1-1 with #14 Texazz and lost by double digits to UA.
The Chokers haven't lost less than 2 games a season for the last 14 years...
Even with B-2-B Heisman pretenders at QB...
