Ok the team should enjoy this all up until Monday. Then it should be all put behind them and go to work harder than ever, cause this team has some major revenge that needs to take place this coming week against Missouri. Never forget what the booger-eaters did to us in our stadium last year.

This week is all work guys, don't let the win go to our heads too much.

This team knows that the loss last year was a joke.

A calamity of errors.

A game where we beat ourselves.

A game where Will Grier sat on the bench and knew he could have made a difference.

This year? Blood will be paid with blood.

and they had like 90 yards of offense with all of driskels backwards tosses on purpose for touchdowns...

We went from the laughing stock of football to a legit contender in the Nations eyes after tonight. Just with Driskel being in another state and an offense that tries

They had 119 total yards (20 yards passing) and 7 first downs. And yet if I remember correctly they had a 42-0 lead in the 3rd qtr. We had 6 turnovers and they returned an interception, a fumble, a KO and a punt for TDs.
So yeah we owe them one.

Exactly.

I said it last year. And maybe now I see that it all of it happened for a reason...

Our first fame was rained out. We lost to Mizzou in a ridiculous fashion that I've honestly never seen before. We had LSU beat until we dropped a touchdown and immediately turned it over to give them the go ahead win. We lost to South Carolina off of more insanity. We had FSU dead to rights! My god. If those things don't happen, we win 10-11 games last year.

Get your Muschamp hate out of it for a second and think about that.

The truth is though, we lost games like that.

Then I watched Mac's introductory pressed and knew...deep down...had a feeling...that things would be different. Then I watched Grier, each week...and knew great things were in store...

I'm HAPPY again.

Consider that.

Considering Florida gave Missouri how many points last year? I think they need to avenge themselves not go out for revenge.

In other words, a game coached by Muschamp.

The truth is, we couldn't close games out. We relied on our defense to bail us out of everything. We were half a football team. We threw games away at the end as consistently as Tennessee does. We might as well as have had Butch Dooley as our coach. This year is different. This year we are balanced with a good enough offense and a great defense. If things can progress enough, we might even have a very good offense by the end of the year. We have found 3 legit WRs in Powell, Calloway, and Robinson. That's what we've needed, along with a guy to actually throw in the same time zone as which they are running. If we can somehow fix the running game, this offense could be considered explosive. Just look at what we did against Ole Miss's vaunted Landshark defense last night. That is potentially one of the best defenses we'll face all year long, with perhaps the exception of FSU's, I dunno I haven't been following them much. LSU's D is not as good as it's cracked up to be. Gave up big points to Eastern Michigan just last night.

My point is, we got totally embarrassed last year by Mizzou, and we need to exorcise some demons this year, clear the closet of skeletons. Kicking this team's butt up and down it's own field will go a great distance for repairing any lingering doubts that might hold this team back. And even if that's not needed, at least Missouri needs it's butt handed to it.
