We see it over and over and over. It never works. Run a play quit killing time and relying on a desperation 3

My wife and I just had twins, so I haven’t been paying as close attention, but when I have watched, even early in the season, it does seem like all we do is throw up 3s. If they’re falling we can beat anyone if not, we can lose to literally anyone. I have to say it’s not as much fun to watch because it’s kind of random whether you win or lose.

terrible coaching

Bad decision by White

Spurrier is a thinker. He takes a thoughtful, philosophical approach to coaching that served him well during his nearly 40 years as a college and pro football coach. During that time, Spurrier developed a simple strategy for winning games: Teach your players well, then get out of the way and let them play.

“I just think coaches should allow your players to go play the game,” he said. “And play smart, but if you think you can make a play, go do it.”

In other words: “The players win the game. They do the performance part.”

That wasn’t dribbling around killing clock that was attacking the basket and putting up a prayer. Yesterday was dribbling side to side killing time

Amounts to the same thing imo, namely putting up a prayer shot.
If it goes in, you're a genius. If it doesn't, then you're an idiot.
Spurrier said the same thing about his own play calls...
