We should have a trophy for this game! That way we could hand it to you as well as the game! With a big bow on top!

Somehow decades of dominance is forgotten and a few close games where FL gutted it out by MAKING PLAYS and overcoming their own mistakes has morphed into KY fans believing it is all about them

In football

Eat my balls

Common theme with a lot of rival fan bases is all this talk about UF being given gifts but they conveniently forget all the mistakes UF has been making. We missed an easy FG in the game too. Frank’s interception was a gift, he legitimately ran around for 3 days with no pressure then threw one up into double coverage for some inexplicable reason while we were driving. We had a hold take 7 off the board. Then we had 3 starters out on defense alone and lost the QB throughout the game. But sure we were lucky and got given a gift.

Did the refs give Kentucky a trophy to go along with the game they gift wrapped for you and tried every which way to hand to you?

I guess CatClause is one of those die hard hoops fans who should strictly stick to talking basketball.

Yeah....probably! Isn't it strange how the point spread was 7.5 and you won by 8....weird, isn't it!? 19 points in 7:34 is a gift from the refs! Call it what you will, but you got your a$$e$ handed to you for 3.5 quarters and were gifted a win!!!

Now if you could just let the rest of our opponents know we will gladly accept the same gifts, we would be greatly appreciative:D.
With UF on the side of your helmets, you will always get the benefit of the doubt and plenty of gifts.....

You are no doubt aware that UF is the most penalized team by SEC refs going back to 1990. It doesn't matter who the players are or the coaches, or whether the team deserves the penalties or not, UF has NEVER in it's history been a team favored in any way by the SEC or it's referees.

Alabama on the other hand is the opposite side of the spectrum. It doesn't matter who the coach or players are or what they do on the field, but thanks to the SEC referee office being located just a couple miles away from Bama, they have enjoyed the lowest # of penalties in the SEC each and every year since back to the 1960's. It also doesn't help that any and all SEC refs are offered free education at Alabama to any of their children or spouses, which indirectly makes the ref's bama fans.

But yeah, the refs were trying to hand the game to Florida. The same refs that took 2 of our touchdowns off of the scoreboard thanks to penalties. The same refs that handed KY that first touchdown even though the ground moved the ball against the KY WR's hand when he didn't have possession yet. The same refs who I don't recall throwing the flag once for holding against KY all night long, yet the moment one of our DBs put so much as a hand on your WR, it was pass interference.

If it really upsets you that much, do what every other UK fan does, just focus on the UK basketball team.

The just played Bama vs SCa game is a good example of what goes on.

Straight out of the iG's SEC Officials handbook for Gator fans.

Mick even quoted my original post on the subject, years ago on the radio.
No matter the year or decade.
No matter the opponent.
No matter the HC.
No matter the players.
No matter the systems in use on offense or defense.
UF is the most penalized team in the SEC almost every year.
Certainly if the years are averaged out over a decade.
While Bama is the exact opposite.
~ And this is not just in football, but in every sport.

I've been around a long time and this chit goes back to at least the Spurrier years.
In the 80's I advocated UF leaving the SEC over it.

One of the Gator AD's main jobs should be living on the SEC officials asses and making it public to finally put an end to it.

IMOHO, the reason it goes on is the ole rag about we (SEC schools) are all eating ($$$) out of the same (corrupt pigs) trough, so don't make waves, just take your $$$ and go enjoy your mansion with benefits.
Very similar to the corruption with government bureaucrats, lawyers, judges, and in all politicians....

He does that all the time, its like the ball is his woobie and he doesn't want to throw it away.

Read defense. Make quick decisions. Throw to open receiver or throw it away.
Make good fakes and then decisive hand-offs, not indecisive fumbles....

Franks could do it at times, but was not consistent, and it got worse if he was pressured.
Franks has a long windup throwing notion.

Trask does the cock & fire quickly method.
The jet sweep fake / hand-off to Hammond was a thing of beatuy imo.

Both have their plus and minus QB attributes, they can win with either imo.
Now we'll see if Trask can be consistent with his performance.

Ya, it was the refs fault that a jet sweep went for 75 yards. They probably caused your kicker to miss a chip shot too. Ky Wildcat fans are the biggest pansies on earth.

Its Gators in script writing...get it right junior.

Football is played 4 quarters. Not 3.5. Learn to stop a backup QB who hasn't started a game since his freshman year of high school ball. Learn to stop a jet sweep also. Learn to make a chip shot field goal in crunch time.

I saw on your board how you guys were upset by our players mocking your cheap shot artist @CatClause.. Would you care to elaborate how trying to intentionally injure our backup QB(now starter)is justifiable? I would appreciate the gift of your reasoning on that one.

Yalls administration needs to raise hell on this. It would go a long way for the players and probably recruits to see them take action and a strong stance.

Yeah it worked so well last time...it sent the most legendary Florida football alumni to the NFL and later to the opposing sidelines.

He will probably never respond. If he does his trash ass will probably defend Trash Daniel.

For what it's worth, Mullen has seen the footage and his response is to let the SEC and NCAA handle it, which will amount to absolutely nothing. You sure as hell know that nobody at Kentucky will lift a finger to punish their star bad boy, especially stoops. He doesn't discipline any bad behaviors ever.

So it's the end of this story. Hopefully though, we are a learning lesson to all future opponents that Kentucky has that they need to watch out for that #56 as he plays dirty and is scum.

The media wasted no time showing Brandon Spikes appearing to gouge the eyes of a Georgia RB in 2009. He was ultimately suspended for the next game.

I agree with Spurrier, I'm an 'Old Testament' kind of guy....
"If they are going to be hitting the QB after the play, (to the echo of the whistle and maybe a little bit longer) then we need to be doing the same thing.... o_O

If the NCAA and SEC can't do what's needed, then some 'Special Needs Coaching' should be going on in a Gator back training room....

Dude....Not everyone in Kentucky is a basketball fan.....To me, it's like watching paint dry, along with baseball! Alot of UK fans are passionate about college football!

Dis Guy!!!! C'mon man, your guys tackled our NG from behind repeatedly, and held all night!!

So he WOULD be a good fit at FSU...

No, but I'll tell you what IS weird.

That late touchdown on the end around caused the game to pay on the over. Without it, it pays the under. I know this because the radio guys do picks every week and Hicken took the under and was bitching about the late score.

What makes that weird is in 2016 I was in Vegas during the game and bet $100 on the under, but a late end around by Kentucky for about 80 yards led to a last minute touchdown and cost me money because it made the game pay the over.

So twice in the last 4 years a late end around for a long touchdown caused the game to pay the over. THAT'S weird.
