It struck a nerve that he was called out that Auburn lost a 3rd string QB that he said would win the Heisman.
He's not going anywhere. His contract states that his buyout is 75% of the amount left on his contract. It was $35 million when they signed him 2 years ago the day AFTER he shit the bed against Georgia in the SECCG.
I believe his buyout at the end of the year would be around $21 million. And there's no way he would negotiate for a lesser buyout so Auburn is likely stuck with him for at least 3-4 more years.
If Malzahn has another crappy season the fans will be going crazy. It will be interesting to see what happens.
