Florida redshirt freshman wide receiver Dionte Marks entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal Wednesday, the Gainesville Sun confirmed. Matt Zenitz of AL.com was the first to report Marks’ decision

I don't think that's necessarily true. I believe entering the portal includes surrendering your scholarship. The school then has the option of leaving the scholarship open if you decide to return, or saying see ya.

Receiver Dionte Marks, a freshman last season who appeared in two games, officially enrolled at UCF on Wednesday according to reports. Marks flip-flopped between Ole Miss and UCF after announcing his intentions to transfer from UF earlier in the year …

Now everyone can move on....
