To beat Jim McElwain into a pulp package if he was seen fussing at another player again or something?

Every since Mc ripped Kelvin Taylor a new one you have seen zero fire out of him.

I know it's cliche to say a team takes on the personality of the coach but goodness this is the prime example.

McElwain hasn't been the same coach since this event. I agree there is no fire or passion out of him at all and it is disturbing. He has been disengaged ever since. I don't want psycho Muschamp but I don't want an emotionless dead beat either who just stands there all game and look disinterested.

You are absolutely correct that a team takes on the personality of their head coach. That's no cliche. That's the truth.

I want Fuente.

Guy looks calm through most situations but when he does speak up, he is clearly heard.

He is one of the top on my list but doubtful he'd leave Va Tech so soon. I always said when he was at Memphis he was waiting on Stoops to retire at OU...but the timing didn't work out.

I like Fuente as well and I'm keeping an eye on Scott Frost as well. I think Frost is an up and comer and going to be wanted by some bigger programs in the next year or two.

I'd like to know the exact same thing. That guy at least showed passion and was engaged. It isn't even remotely similar to the zombie that is walking around on the sidelines now.

Maybe we should designate a player to throat slash after the opening kickoff and that will bring fire to Mc.

Dude has the emotion of a cypress tree.

I think the most likely scenario is that wasn't the real him. All new coaches try to send a message when they first take over a team whether that's chewing out a players on the sideline, kicking someone off the team for something that might seem minor, etc. and that's probably what that was. I mean think about it...the celebration didn't even deserve all that. The reaction was clearly over the top which likely means it was just theatrics.

I still think somebody chewed him in return and made him pee his pants.
