This depth chart on both offense and defense should kill the idea Mullen is playing favorites. He has RJ Raymond who is a former walk-on above three highly rated TE’s. Steiner who was a last second throw in to his class is starting over higher rated safeties who played last year. Polite is playing above Cece who everybody assumed was a lock to start. Nick Buchanan beating out TJ McCoy. I got no complaints...looks like everybody earned their keep like it’s supposed to be.

Opener injury 'questionables' for Saturday.
ILB Reese - CB C.J McWilliams - S Davis - WR Copeland

Any suspensions - Game Day announcement, if necessary.

Not starters - DE/OLB CeCe Jefferson - DT/NT Khairi Clark

Starter battles continue this week at OC and K. Townsend starts as the P and holder.

KR - Lemons and/or Massey
PR - Swain and/or Toney

Very interesting, least talented D I’ve seen in a long time from Florida.

WR corps looks very good. Thoughts on the Oline?
yep, our D has been sliding down to obscurity since the moment Muschamp was axed.....culminating in last year's rock bottom showing, sheesh, was putrid. we are lacking talent wise on D. And yes, WR is a strength, if only we get a QB that utilizes them properly! RB group is strong too. Our D line should be solid. But LB and secondary will be questionable.

Secondary questionable? We probably have the best duo of CBs in the SEC with Marco Wilson & Henderson. Have Chauncey Gardner as as well. Safety may be a bit of a question mark but I believe some guys are going to emerge from that group. LBer is where we are still weak. The D will be much better with Grantham than opposed to a Randy Shannon defense.

The linebackers and safeties are probably mid pack SEC I would say. The D line and 2 starting CBs are good however.
