What would happen if DC Todd Grantham took a HC'ing job or moved to the PFL (professional football league)?
I'm just guessing and speculating here, but maybe Dan is planning ahead, just in case. ;)

According to Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports, former UConn and Syracuse head coach Paul Pasqualoni is headed to Florida to become an assistant on Dan Mullen’s staff. The report from Thamel says that Pasqualoni will be a special assistant to Mullen himself. According to Thamel, Pasqualoni would help break down opposing defenses for Florida’s offense, utilizing his specialty as a defensive coach.

The last two seasons he was the Detroit Lions DC. Dan's 1st coaching job was as a grad assistant under Pasqualoni when he was the HC at Syracuse (1991-2004). 1991 UF 21 - 38 Syr --

Former head coach and offensive coordinator, Garrick McGee, is reportedly joining Dan Mullen's staff as a defensive analyst, GatorsTerritory confirms.

Despite losing Jamar Chaney to Mississippi State, McGee is Florida's second hire this week. According to Yahoo Sports' Pete Thamel, former Syracuse and UConn head coach, Paul Pasqualoni, recently accepted an off-field role as a special assistant to Dan Mullen. He was previously the defensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions as well.

As good a place as any to drop this information.

Florida Gators head coach Dan Mullen has been voted the SEC Preseason Head Coach of the Year by the team of Sports Illustrated SEC publishers.

In 2019 UF was one of only two FBS schools to have 4 DB's with at least 3 interceptions each.
CB Kaiir Elam was one of just 7 Fr in FBS, and 1 of just 2 in the SEC, to have at least 3 Inceptions.
Kaiir was the latest UF DB to be named to the Freshman All SEC Team.
He played on all 13 games and was a starter in 5 games.
He was the 5th Gator since 2010 and 10th since 1996 to record at least 3 interceptions in their 1st season.
He helped Florida finish 7th nationally in scoring (15.5 pts) and tied for 4th-fewest touchdowns allowed (23).
For 2020 as a Sophomore, he is a projected starter and has been placed on the Jim Thorpe Award Watch List.
DB-U indeed! ;)
