Dakota Mitchell & JUCO transfers Diwun Black and Deyavie Hammond ?

Less than a week removed from backing off his pledge to LSU, Winter Park's
Dakota Mitchell
committed to the Gators on Thursday.

Mitchell originally committed to the Tigers on March 19, but reopened his recruitment last Friday and announced his final five Sunday.

The addition of Mitchell gives the Gators a total of 18 members in their 2021 class, which is currently ranked No. 5 nationally and includes JUCO transfers Diwun Black and Deyavie Hammond

Had seen/heard several bits about Diwun Black & a very little about Hammond.

Rivals seems to be stating that both are headed to Gators.

Unlike Black & Hammond, whose status as JuCo players is known, former 2019 OT Wardrick Wilson seems to have disappeared.

Maybe the 3rd time is a charm; hope he sticks this time. But would rather have him be indecisive now, then a week before ESD. Big decision for anyone, hope he has found his comfort zone.

If he stays with us, he will be the 1st IMG player to actually sign with the Gators.

Looks like we have an entire Secondary.

Wilcoxson joins St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, Md.) cornerback Clinton Burton Jr. and Winter Park (Fla.) nickel corner/safety Dakota Mitchell in Florida's 2021 defensive back haul to date.

IMO, at 6'31/2" 226 lbs, Diwun Black more of a OLB than a safety. With his time ay DB, Black should have excellent coverage skills.
