Critical thinkers, have you noticed this about California?

This seems to happen almost every year under Trump: California tells Trump it needs money. Trump says eff you, start running your state properly and you'll be fine.

Then a week or so later, massive wildfires erupt. Governor declares state of emergency, tells Trump the state needs federal funds to stop wildfires. Trump cuts them a check.

Anyone else notice this?

Do they have accountability on the spending of the money? If not, they should.

The State of Florida has a fairly aggressive program of controlled burns, tightly regulated and environmentally sound. The dry underbrush is identified and removed and helps the forest maintain a healthy balance and renewal.
We still have lightning strikes and a predictable number of dumbasses who are careless with a campfire.

Cali had thousands of lightning strikes over the last 72 hours, along with a heat wave and the usual very thick - oh pardon me, natural undergrowth that is susceptible to fires.
It's like letting shrubs around your house grow wild, and dead leaves sit in your gutters and on your roof for years. If a spark from your chimney or a spark catches fire, you're in a world of hurt. By your own neglect.

I'm not positive, but I believe Trump has started tightening this as he started to notice this happening repeatedly.
