Correction!

2/1 and 2/2

Figured you meant square root.

Funny sometimes I actually do use algebra in day to day life. Product description left out a key dimension. I had to use the number of equal sides and sq ft to determine the length.

18 sq-ft 6 sides. 1x by 2x rectangle => 2x^2=18, each panel is 3 ft long.

Its a baby playpen but is going to be used to contain the terrorist dachshund who is destroying domestic tranquility at the house. :)

So much energy in such a small package and he and the cat go from play fighting to real fighting after a short time. I am actually afraid that the cat may hurt him until he gets bigger.

Do you use the international foot or the U. S. survey foot?

I think I said 2 is an irrational number. Wrong. 2 is a rational number. The square root of 2 is an irrational number. It does not end.
Nice thread title!
