I just watched a show on this, and it had the NTSB investigator in charge. I remember when it happened, and really thought it was terrorism. Then the stories about the people who thought they saw something coming from the going, up to it. There were people who really fought the finding from the NTSB. I find it very hard to believe that if we shot it down, someone from the ship would have blown the whistle by now. The NTSB had a VERY believable reason. The fuel got hot enough to explode, and they found out how and why the fuel got that hot. I would hope that this really did not happen, but then again...the FBI tried to overthrow the 2016 Presidential election.

More evidence including a whistleblower have confirmed that the U.S. Navy did indeed shoot down TWA Flight 800 in the Atlantic as it left New York, and the CIA and the New York Times worked to cover it up, explained renowned investigative reporter Jack Cashill in this interview on Conversations That Matter with The New American magazine’s Alex Newman.

My uncle who retired in 1994 was a TWA 747 captain who flew out of JFK and flew that exact route all the time. He aways believed that is what happened.
