WTF, they are rewarding mediocrity? He’s 22-16 overall and 12-12 in the S.E.C. since he took over their program. He’s gone to 3 lower level Bowls and if that is what they want, we’ll Champ’s is the man for the job. I think we did the same thing with our last coach and all that got us is paying McElwain more severance pay.

I have to be honest, I would feel weird if I was introduced to an ex was continually banging a less attractive ex.

Thankful that the Gord-O-Geek-O has me on ignore,,, proves to me that there is a gawd...o_O

Now if a few select other jerks would just follow his lead....

Spurrier actually got that team three straight 11-2 seasons. No one would ever believe that if they didn't see it mentioned somewhere.
I hope USCjr fans remember those days well because that was the top of the mountain for them. They will never experience success like that ever again.

Couple more years and they will be asking themselves why the hell they ran Spurrier out. If they aren't doing that now.

Spurrier was going thru the motions his last two years at USC. He decided to retire mid season his last year. He is well respected at Carolina hence we would have never run him off. Champ took a 4-8 team and finished 6-6 his first year. The second year he finished 9-4 beating Michigan in the Outback bowl. So this year Florida finished 9-3. That is good. South Carolina finished 7-5. Carolina lost to the #2 ranked team Clemson and Florida beat a hapless FSU team. Switched those teams and Florida would have finished 8-4 as would have Carolina. Heads up this year Carolina had lots of injuries on the defensive side of the ball. So many second teamers were starting there were no quality depth so they had to play the whole Florida game and finally just ran out of gas.
Bottom line Muschamp is developing a good team and recruiting successfully to build quality depth. He now has good offensives coaches and good offensive players including quarterbacks. It will be interesting to see how Florida and Carolina do in their division and in their head to head meetings in the future. Good luck with the game against Michigan. I will be pulling for Florida. Both bowl games are on at same time. All offensive players except for two linemen starters and two TE back ups will return next year. The offensive you see tomorrow is the offensive you will see next year. Champ is a good guy and coach .

In a couple of years all that will be remembered is the successes.

I think he probably lasts for a few more years there. I was surprised to see SC was # 24 in passing yards per game with Muschamp being the coach.

I think he is a good guy. I don’t think he’s a good coach. He may have improved some and learned some things from him time at UF but he still isn’t a good coach

Muschamp can recruit and is decent on defense. I much prefer Mullen who runs the offense. I wish Mullen could recruit as well as Muschamp, though. But Muschamp made basic strategy mistakes like running out the clock before the half and things like that.

Welp. Do they still want to honor that contract extension to Muschamp if they get beat like this by Virginia??

Recruit like Muschamp such as wanting to be a power run team and not signing any OL. By going after QB"s that end up WR's at Tennessee State? By recruiting Adam Lane and never Derrick Henry?

Yeah what an ace recruiter.
