Clemson Crazy!!!!!!!!

This is ridiculous...

sadgator will likely not be alive in ‘37-‘38....

It's all part of the game. Playing low level OC games now while scheduling high level games "in the future" that always somehow get cancelled right before the games so you are forced to find last minute low level teams with schedule openings. Get credit for tough scheduling while playing easy schedules. UF has even started doing it. And why not? Tired of playing a top 10 SOS and have people claiming we play nobody because FSU is the only name school on the OOC.

We already play 10 P5 games every year (9 conference games plus Iowa). Maybe the @SEC should play 9 conference games like the @Big12Conference

Ok, so you have my attention...... #Sooners#Gators twitter.com/scottstricklin…

lol...schedule that game for 2-3 years...drop one of these crap teams. It would be like a bowl game. Make it happen...it would be awesome.

The issue with scheduling a game that soon is it it takes two to tango. Available dates in schedules have to coincide.

I would love to see us play some new big games with teams we never play. Texas, Clemson, Penn State, USC or anyone. Strickland seems to be doing a good job. I like the attitude. Make it happen!

Just like UF playing FSUcks or the scUM thugs, this helps Clemp's-son with their SoS, while it burdens UF with a Top 5 SoS.

Go review the current projected CFP Four and show me their SoS's.
I'm betting that ZERO of the 4 have even a Top 10 SoS. o_O

So instead of playing our current OoC opponents, why don't they just add, Clem and PSU to annual in-state rivals (FSUcks and the scUM). --- And never see another CFP game or a NC as the result...

Is the Iowa St guy an idiot? He really wants to talk about conference games to a SEC member? B*tch, please......

SoS matters, not # of conference games or # or FBS games.....f'ing moron......

We are ALWAYS way up there in SoS, Iowa St not so much......

To be the best, you have to play and beat the best...
And that's why Iowa State will never be the best... :p
(ND and OK are also in that IoSt category)

Embarrassing to be an AD by twitter

And no, 37-38 is not serious, I think we are getting mocked

You are so wrong on this. He gets how it's done in the current world. As misguided as it may be, UF gets called out on their OOC games. Now he can point to this and say 'we offered and only one school took us up on it (Clemson)...for 17 years later'. Not to mention, it saves him from making 50-something phone calls trying to schedule a couple of games.

Iowa State's AD attempting scheduling smack with UF's AD is pretty funny to me. :D
The online back-and-forth stems from a Florida request for a home and home against a power-five team.

For comparison’s sake, Florida faces Miami, Towson, UT Martin and Florida State in nonconference games this season. Phil Steele ranks it as the nation’s 10th toughest schedule.

Iowa State faces Northern Iowa, Iowa and ULM in nonconference games with the 28th toughest schedule, according to Steele.

UF's SoS is already a Top 10 in the Nation, and playing 8 games in the power house SEC
IoSt not even in the Top 25 in the Nation while playing 9 games in the Big12/10/whatever.
