Per Alachua County Court Records, Thompson's disposition was Monday and now the case is closed. "NO INFO INSUFFICIENT EVIDENCE THIS DEFENDANT," according to the records. I linked what I saw on the website below.

The Gainesville Sun's Robbie Andreu confirmed that with state attorney Bill Cervone.

"@RobbieAndreu: State Attorney Bill Cervone just confirmed that there will be no formal charges against Florida wide receiver Chris Thompson."

"@RobbieAndreu: Paperwork on Thompson was filed yesterday. Cervone said Thompson was entitled to defense of his property (his phone) in the case."

"@RobbieAndreu: Cervone also said the alleged victim did not want to prosecute Thompson, her former boyfriend."
