I would love for Napier to hand off the play calling duties. But I am not a chip kelly fan. Go up to Pittsburg and get Cade Bell here. He's done a great job this season. Youngest power 4 OC.

He did say he was far happier with just play calling rather than including game management to add to his responsibilities. As for leaving OSU, why would he leave his boss who he's known since Ryan Day was in high school? If Chip is in fact coming to Gainesville, then this means Napier is tweaking the offense around Kelly.
IMO, Cade Bell is who I want and he'll be surrounded by more talent than they have up in Pitt.
Nevertheless, if we land Kelly, the Vols fans will be sharting themselves as Kelly has unmercifully owned Tennessee.

Just saw where coaches contracts dont come up for renewal until January 1st so it might be until next week before we know something. Also that will be after Ohio State plays Oregon if Chip is a candidate.

The name that I am hearing would be HUGE and Florida's fans mine's will explode. I'm gonna keep that name to myself to see if the info I have been hearing and reading is correct.

I am just curious who the secret person is who is unemployed now that will make everyone go nuts. I would be happy if any decent hire was made OC though. Napier isn't that good at it.

"Crucial" made claims like this in the past that never happen for clicks. He is definitely not high on the trust list based on just that. I just can't think of anyone out there off the top of my head that didn't work this year that will make Gator fans heads explode. Who is it rumored to be? Maybe I will be surprised when I hear it?
Don't get me wrong any OC with a decent record will be very nice to get considering Napier but you would think it's a young Steve Spurrier with his talk.
That's how I feel about it. I think Napier is good but not great. With the size of his staff...surprised that we don't have an OC. Very few head coaches can manage the game and call plays. It's not a knock on CBN.

Yep the numbers and bonehead decisions say Napier objectively isn't good at calling plays.
I am not on all the forums obviously but Tebow Time's comments are the first to give any background on the possible OC that I have seen. "Crucial" may have said those things on some site though I am not sure or maybe somewhere else in that video. If there isn't some great hire everyone goes nuts about I think "Crucial" may just drop the issue.
