They will never admit it, libs being libs. They want 50% of cars sold in US by 2030 to be electric. It will take a minimum 8 years just to get the design and engineering completed for the nationwide infrastructure to support that. Heck it takes 3-6 months to get electric service to a new home.

I live in Fort Myers so you know we were just smashed by hurricane Ian...if you ever wondered about that absolute uselessness of electric cars you can see it here now.

Electric cars as they stand right now are a "niche" vehicle...not something that can be used when there is any interruption in daily charging.
