When you do it right before NSD ( early one ) you kill your class and set your program back a year(S) because of it. Jeff Scott at U.S.F. had an unranked class last year and it will take another 2-3 years to get the players for his system. South Carolina right now has an unranked class, Auburn and Illinois ( I know a weak program to start ) are both in the 60 range and their class ranking.

I say you do it after NSD and take your chances the kids like the replacement. It could save you a year in building your team.

There is this thing called, you know, the transfer portal. We've seen so many players get immediate eligibility at another school because of coaching changes.
