There are 13 players with at least 100 at-bats for the St. Lucie Mets this season. So, who leads that group in batting average? Surprise-Surprise -- That would be .292 Tim Tebow. ![Stick Out Tongue :p :p](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Tebow had a 3-for-5 game against Bradenton on Wed, his 4th 3-hit game this season (his 2nd with St. Lucie, both coming in the last 2 weeks). He also connected on his 5th HR with St. Lucie, a 3-run shot on Sat that was his 8th HR overall this season.
Since moving up to the Met's Top Single-A St. Lucie Club, in 32 games he’s hitting .292 with 5 home runs and 20 RBIs. And he's only had 2 fielding errows since moving up. Both his bat and his glove are showing steady improvement as he gets back into his baseball mode.![Cool  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
And as is usual for Tim, he's a 4.0 in both the clubhouse and with the packed house fans.![Big Grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
