By the way - Noah Brindise is selling his suite tix

Lol...he threw something like 10 passes that entire 1989 season... one of them against Auburn was complete for negative yards...no joke!

But he actually was 27 of 59 45.8% for 330 yds, 1 TD, 4 Ints in his 8 Gms played.
R - 53 for 226 yds, 4.3 ypc with 2 TD's.
Was he UF's first QB-DT?

He did a lot better with the Houston Cougars in 1990-91.

Yep, us-ins is old, there's no getting involved in it for me. o_O

I watched Spurrier win MVP in the Sugar Bowl as the losing QB...
UF 18 - 20 Mizzou

Me too. I wasn't there but I watched on teevee. I think UF was down 20-0 and almost came back.

Steve threw 3 TD passes, (all to Charlie Casey I think) in the 4th to win MVP.
~ I think that he's still the only Sugar MVP ever named from the losing team.
Charlie wasn't that fast, but that kid had hands like glue and he would lay out horizontal in the air to make a catch. No Fear!

Ray Graves listened to his OC telling him that 8 - 20 would look better than 7 - 20, so go for 2. They failed on the 2 Pt conversion so it's 6 - 20.

On the 2nd TD they had to go for 2 for a chance to win it. They failed again so now it's 12 - 20

On the 3rd TD they had to go for 2 yet again to get a tie. Failed again and lost.

I lost a lot of hair that day (but it grew back eventually) besides going hoarse...
The Gator coaches snuck outta town to avoid the lynching that the fans wanted to give them over that enormous debacle...

But back then we always had our motto to fall back on...
Wait-til-next-year. :(

But Steve eventually came back to be the HBC and finally cure that long time problem. :)

Brindise will get over it eventually like the rest of the people that didn't like the hire. Hopefully Mullen proves us doubters wrong. He has a chance if he can pull a respectable recruiting class this year and can keep Corral.

I want to know what Larry Ochab, Rodney Brewer, Lex Smith & Ingle Martin think!!! Geesh - Noah Brindise, give me a break.

It’s funny that he thought any of us cared. If anybody at all really took notice it was because they knew we were about to have a watchable football team again and they wanted the seats.

My first thought when I heard that was “ I bet he doesn’t actually do it” just like that other lard ass Rosie O’Donnell didn’t move to France or wherever.
