Then good for Stricklin for doing HIS job as AD and hiring the guy he thought was the best fit. Wveryone inside that UAA has overseen a terrible hire in Chump and an unforgivable hire in Mac.

I sort of figured Mullen was a hire Steve could get behind, especially with his strong desire to be the UF HBC.

Sorry, but he's a moron. Steve is 70+ years old and this is a multiple year rebuild. Not only does Steve not want the job, but at this point in time he wouldn't be the man to fix us either. I mean he literally quit the South Carolina job because he admitted he didn't have the energy to do it anymore. So how the hell is it disrespectful to not offer him our job? Dumb AF.

Yep Spurrier is professional about the UF coaching stuff like he should be. I think Brindise is probably hammered about now like I am.
So the greatest Gator of all time has come out to support the hire.
Tim Tebow, probably the second most and most recent iconic Gator, came out in support.
Apparently their is some level of respect for the guy from people who know and who are much more linked to Florida football. Just relax and lets see what happens. Mac buried us, but if things aren’t looking better soon Then complain. But I think we will see a noticable on-field difference from day 1.

Stricklin got a hard-sell out to Kelly, gauged the interest of Frost, and when they weren't interested, still had the safest bet on the board in place by the end of the regular season. I can't argue with any of it.

Yep he is going a little overboard. Regardless if him and Spurrier don't like the choice at least act professional considering you are connected to the program like that. Spurrier handled it the way it should have been handled.

Then you have Fat Dog...who warmed the bench for 3 years. Only took snaps because Doug Johnson after immature and Jesse Palmer was banged up...his claim to fame is ONE upset win over FSU...and he wasn't even the QB who threw the awesome pass.

You would think WE actually hired schiano from some of his and our fans responses.. They have no clue what they are even talking about, of course it's the same ones that swear we should still have kept mac and nuss, how can you possibly be stupid enough about football as even a casual fan to think 115th ranked offenses should be dealt with and accepted for 3 years and would have never stopped because they never adjusted and were ACTUALLY stupid enough to think what they were doing wasn't wrong...
