At this rate, he couldn't get a single win over a VERY mediocre Florida team in rebuilding mode (5 freshmen in the starting rotation???!), it's almost a foregone conclusion that he will not be winning a national title in his final year, so he's probably hoping this season ends sooner than later so he can go enjoy retirement mowing grass somewhere. He can join bobby bowden in that and the 2 of them could have Tallahassee's premiere lawn mowing service.

If there was only one thing I hoped for out of this rebuilding year, heck from ALL of UF's spring sports this year, it was to sweep FSU yet again and send Martin into retirement with a losing record against us. After the terrible season we've been having, I had almost no hope going into last night other than the fact that FSU is doing just as badly as we are. Well worse..

Martin sure isn't pleasing the fan base as he seems to be pressuring the AD to replace him with someone within the program. We all know Mike Martin wants his son to be the next head coach.

IMO, of all the games played between Florida and Florida State, no game will ever match the one that happened on the night of January 2, 1997. If FSU had won that game, I'm sure they'd say the same thing. Two Florida teams playing for the National Championship that night.

Exactly. It does not bother be in the least that Spurs never won in Tally and left with a losing record vs the Noles. I would have been happy if he went 2-WhatEverTheNumberWas as long as those two were the date you mentioned as well as the 97 regular season when we knocked them out of the championship game.

I'll be honest, after that loss in November, I thought that was it for UF and we were going to witness FSU win another title. Warrick Dunn killed us that day and nobody else was beating FSU.
