Better hope our Corps doesn't get involved in this mess. Hamas is a battle hardened group of fanatics. According to the IDF they have had 338 troops killed thus far with only 17 in Gaza. Which basically means 321 were killed when Hamas overran the Gaza border and the IDF got caught flatfooted. Our army and marine corps do not have the number of combat experienced personnel thay we had just a few years ago.
Your assuming that Biden is sending them to help the IDF. With as many Israel hating DEMS that we have in this government, that is not a guarantee.

Iran and its proxies can virtually flatten much of Israel if they have the mind to. However, they realize that Israel will respond no less that two-fold. But it's possible that Israel could at least be temporarily overrun by militants in the process.
I believe Iran will continue to stall for time until they can build and deploy a nuclear arsenal to match Israel. Once that occurs, Iran will leverage that threat to protect their proxies in Gaza, Lebanon and Yemen leading, ultimately, to the demise of Israel and quite possibly the Saudi kingdom.

Israel is in a precarious position and is basically surrounded on three sides. Historically they've been able to fight one side at a time and then turn their attention to the other enemy. That may not be possible this time. They could well unleash nukes in an attempt to survive.
