I quit watching NASCAR when they caved into this fiasco. I used to go to two or three races since the 80s a year. Bristol, Dega, Daytona is where I was at most. I couldnt tell you as of today who is where and what.

I'm thinking Richard Petty gave him a choice to either walk out or be told publicly his services are no longer needed on the Petty team.

Before the noose got loose I thought of Bubba as just an old country boy. He seemed to fit in very well with the other driver's. IMO, he bought in to the BLM narrative and played it just like Smollet. He doesn't realize the opportunity he was given and especially beings that he didn't have any more talent than Danica Patrick. I imagine Richard Petty had enough of his crap. What a shame.
