,... he (Terry Bowden) still has aspirations of leading his own program once again.
I'd rather put 100$ down to help buy the golf cart so he can once again roam the sidelines in glory.Bring a 91 year-old carcass back to coach. What could possibly go wrong?
I’ll put $100 down towards Norvell’s buyout to see this happen.

So 4th straight opening game loss for FSU. Is it time to bring back the legend? Jimbo is long gone and many would argue FSU's current problems still stem from the locker room issues he left behind. That leaves Bobby.
And it's not going to get any easier, their next three opening games are Notre Dame and LSU twice.
I see FSU dropping the LSU games. Bowl eligibility issues.
Good points. I pretty much agree with everything you said.Blackman is a good representation of what is wrong with this program. I don’t believe he is the sole reason we are struggling but if you watch him on the field and on the sidelines he encompasses all of our problems. When things are going well he’s pumping everything and everyone up around him. When things are bad he finger points and throws tantrums. At one point during the game there was a shot of Norvell kneeling down in Blackman’s face telling him to calm down. Last year you would see Blackman pouting on the sidelines, getting into it with Taggart, he did the same with Jimbo. When your QB lacks emotional maturity you’re screwed. This whole team lacks emotional maturity. Early in the game they are amped and ready to right the ship. Any little pressure applied and we fold. The smartest thing GaTech did was getting any pressure on Blackman. Just like this team, the slightest pressure breaks them. They do not know how to handle adversity. That is going to be Norvell’s biggest challenge.
My overall concern is Norvell has never built a program. He inherited a good/great situation in Memphis. This is his first time taking over a program in bad shape and he’s learning how to do it on the job. FSU is a tough place to learn how to build something from the floor up. Using UF as an example both of your most successful coaches learned how to establish and build successful programs before taking the Florida job. Your current coach has that experience. I hope I’m wrong but we may have pulled the trigger on a guy that has a high ceiling for offense but will need more time than the fan base will allow for his vision of the program to come to fruition.
Yes. Old guys in wheel chairs muttering and soiling their depends are exactly what most kids look for in a program.Bobbie could be an analyst for Terry & teach him how to cheat better !
As a recruiting staffer, like Coach Rat, would Bobbie be allowed to make in-home visits ? Bet he would still be a hell of a closer !

Deteriorated? It was always like that! They were taking pride in injuring other team’s players under bowden. darnell docket bragged about twisting Earnest Graham’s knee in the pile. They’ve always been a bunch of front running punks. You didn’t go to f$u under bowden bc you wanted to push yourself and become the best player you could be. You went there bc they cheated much better than the rest of the acc and you would be playing cupcakes all but 1-2 games a year. You’d get to high step and dance and trash talk bc you got Maryland or duke or wake 80% of the time. It’s not a surprise that if you didn’t back down they would sh8t the bed more often than not, just like any bully. Jimbo didn’t cause that. That’s who they always were.you still got guys with attitudes like Mars-Woodley getting in Tech guy's faces after he makes a tackle, you would think FSU was blowing out Ga Tech the way he was acting...that's all a residual of the culture which deteriorated there under Jimbo

Ummm, maybe I'm exaggerating but that's how Notre Dame won it's last national championship under Lou Holtz.
Holtz was 51, so yeah you're exaggerating.
