Saban would likely win anywhere but in fairness to insta UF has seemed to do better and appreciate an offensive minded head coach more than a defensive minded coach. Spurrier and Meyer worked out great. Zook and Muschamp both got fired. So far so good on Mullen. I do believe it isn’t always about having a good coach but they also need to be a good cultural fit.

UF Season Rushing Totals in UF History:
1. 2008 3,326 yds - Mullen (4th year OC at UF)
2. 2009 3,105 yds - Mullen (5th year OC at UF)
3. 2018 2,771 yds - Mullen (1st year HC at UF) - Team 5.3 ypc
4. 2007 2,602 yds - Mullen (3rd year OC at UF)

Anyone that still believes that it was Meyer, rather than Mullen, needs to think again...
Meyer's degree was in psychology. Recruits both coaches and players very well
(a bit like Saban in many ways, come to think about it...).

2017 Mc-Franks - Rushing 58 for 20 yds, 0.3 ypc, 0 TD's
Passing - 54.6%, 1,438 yds, 9 TDs, 8 Ints, 1.1 TD-Int Ratio - QBR 113.3

2018 Dan-Franks - Rushing 110 for 350 yds, 3.2 ypc, 7 TD's.
Passing - 58.4%, 2,457 yds, 24 TD's, 6 Ints, 4.1 TD-Int Ratio - QBR 143.3

That's about as close to a night and day difference as you're ever likely to get.

The entire staff comes together to form the complete 'Game Plan.'
Dan hires well and creates a 'Family' atmosphere for his entire Team, staff & players.

IMOHO's, as far as coaches go, it looks like this to me:
Type A -- 1. Saban - 2. Meyer
Type B -- 1. Dabo - 2. Dan

As always, others are free to see things in whatever way that suits them...
