"...Defensive lineman Brenton Cox is out of the entire season after transferring from the University of Georgia."

Saw this 1 line blurb just now; it isn't definitive, but to be honest I never thought his appeal had much of a chance.

I have not seen any statements from Mullen about Cox, curious if anyone has any "insider" insights ?

Brad Stewart and Luke Ancrum “did not live up to the Gator standard,” according to Florida & were suspended for UT Martin.

Realize that Mullen usually waits until kickoff to announce suspensions, wondering if anyone had heard anything ?

"...Additionally, with junior safety Brad Stewart Jr. out the last two games serving a suspension and no timetable set as to when he will be back with his teammates, Florida has been in need of help in the back end of the secondary, too."

Situation with Stewart starting to look like John Huggins. Is there another dismissal from the team on the way ?

Only things I've heard Dan say on the matter was kind of, We're pushing for the exemption/appeal and we'll let you know.

Most insiders I've read think it's a super long shot - like 1 in a 1000. "So you're saying there's a chance?" applies lol

I think the rumor mill has been saying since week 1 that Stewart was suspended for 3 games so he is probably out. Should play against Tenn.

However, didn't I read somewhere this week that an xfer in LB won his appeal to play for UK??? Seems fair to me...

Gator,

Thanks !

Since no one was talking about his practice reps or how he was looking to get back into a game, I figured something major had come up with Stewart.

Confirmed word IS that Stewart WILL be dressing for the game, something he has NOT done for a couple of weeks. Take it for what it is worth..

yeah on the Stewart kid I saw a picture of the Gator setting up the locker room for the team in the UK stadium. Stewart's Jersey was there. We'll see if that matters
