No question this virus has been here since at least August of last year. Too many people were sick with a dry cough and low-grade fever that tested negative for influenza last year.

I made my judgment based on reporting on how China was handling it. Shutting down Wuhan and building ICU infrastructure. Then deaths in Italy, Iran, etc... It was fairly obvious it was a serious threat.
