Depth is important, of course, but the problem wasn't Uf's depth. Uf hung around Alabama all game long. They may not be the juggernaut they usually are, but they are still a really good team.
Make no mistake, I'm not saying UF would win if that comedy of errors didn't happen. In fact, I would say UGA would win 10 out of 10 times. However, they guy I was responding to acted like there was a mountain of difference in potential between the teams. I don't see it that way. Some difference? Sure. However, not a mountain.
I trust UGA better prepared it's players through the spring and summer. Along with coaching that is respected enough where it's players aren't on record subtly dissing their coaches(cough grantham). That's the real difference.
