Biden slammed on social media after announcing Transgender Day of Visibility on day before Easter Sunday

I don't know why you get so angry over everything. But be that as it may, you either keep ignoring intentionally or you are not understanding the point about the PROCLAMATION that Biden put forth on this day, as was pointed out to you by RussellCasse twice in panels 40 and 45. Biden could have issued the proclamation on March 31 of the last 3 years, but he waits until Easter. It isn't Bidens fault that this trans day fell on Easter but it sure as hell is is fault that he decided Easter would be the perfect time to issue the first of its kind proclamation.
So because it's on Easter, he is supposed to ignore the day?

Why can't he acknowledge both days? Why does it have to be "either/or"?

I am not angry at all, I am more annoyed by how you guys nitpick everything. Like this is the dumbest fake outrage since Obama tan suit.

Kalim, maybe it didn't have to remain unfortunate. Could they have moved it to another day this year BECAUSE it is one of the most solemn holidays on the Christian calendar and it's a rare occurrence on this date, or was this a good way to poke a stick in the eye of Christians, knowing the controversy and not caring? My next question is do you think the date might have been changed had it bumped up against one of the most solemn Muslim days on their calendar?
Now, this is the fair counter-critique. There would likely have been the same argument (from Muslims) against putting this on top of Ramadan.

Very good post.
I would agree with this. I personally don’t ever remember hearing about it until two days ago. Doesn’t mean it hasn’t been celebrated. I could have just never noticed. But I do not ever remember this holiday. I believe when they say it’s been around since 2009. That’s true. But I don’t ever remember any part of government pushing people to recognize it until this year.

Part of that could be the government jabbing religious people. Part of that could also be it got the attention of Christians that it hasn’t in the past because it landed on Easter.

Be that at it may, if you move it to a different time frame, then no one has to worry about it.
Agreed. All I said that it was a different dynamic.

Had Biden’s administration inserted this in 2024, in an election year, then semantically, it is perceived as creating a war on Christians (which vote overwhelmingly for Trump).

If he didn’t move it, then it is a fault of omission and cowardice against his progressive left. He is a “cupboard Catholic” as the priest on CBS news proclaimed yesterday.

I happen to be more of a libertarian. If people want to be transgender in their adult lives, that is their perspective. Keep it out of the schools, etc.

I am not as religious as Captain and Russell, but I grew up an Episcopalian and those views shape my world view and is a part of our / my culture. Easter is an instrumental part of that culture.

Why can't they move the tranny vis day to another day? How about June 19th? Is that good with you?

I'm not going to argue with you. You are just not going to understand the PROCLAMATION issue so it's a waste of anybody's time to further this as Biden DID have a choice on issuing the proclamation THIS year, so your inability to even address THAT issue explains that you are dug in. Have a nice day.

Why didn't Trump move it in his 4 years as president? Or Obama? That just doesn't make any sense at all.

Thanks for making the point, then, of how UNNECESSARY it was to do it again yesterday.

This was masterfully done I might add. It keeps everyone fighting against each other while MILLIONS of ILLEGAL ALIENS storm our border, Iran keeps attacking Israel, inflation kills the economy. Masterful shell game.

Are you okay if it gets moved to June 19th? Yes or no? Why do you answer questions with questions?
Why would anyone ask why Trump never moved it in his four years, WHEN EASTER NEVER FELL ON MARCH 31 IN TRUMPS FOUR YEARS. Isn't what we're talking about is the intersection of Easter and March 31. Good grief. How ridiculous!

I know. He won't look into that, I didn't even bring it up. He tries to wiggle out of every question asked of him.

I’m sure it’s because it never fell on Easter and no one probably even thought to think about whether it would in the next 4-5 years or so.

What is the Obama tan suit Kalim? I have literally never heard of that. Seriously. lol. I have to be honest. Does sound like a reach. Lol

I don't care and your silly question isn't equal, fair or similar. Biden didn't MOVE anything. It always was on that date.

That potential was always there and it will again. We will all be dead but still.

While president, Obama wore a tan suit and the right lost their minds.

They (your people) said it was the 1st time he did it. I showed you that it wasn't and you still won't say it's fake outrage or that you overreacted. Some people will rather hate, whatever.

Ok. So I did some research. And yes. I will agree with you. That’s ridiculous. I think he looks pretty sharp in it anyways.

Me either. And I do not know anyone that said anything about him wearing a tan suit. Plenty to complain about with obozo's racism, divisiveness and bs politics.

No, he shouldn’t have made it a proclamation to begin with. Nice deflection attempt.

He is abusing the trans community by not getting them the mental health treatment they need. Unfortunately, many consequences are resulting from his pandering.

It’s gross.

Most of the haters are on the left. Check out what happened at St Patricks Cathedral yesterday DURING mass.

Check out when a conservative attempts to speak on campus

Check out when MSNBC hires Ronna McDaniel

Check out Riley Gains running from a trans mob as she attempts to speak

And have you noticed the absolute amount of pure hatred your side has directed at Jewish students with violence and harrassment, to where Jewish students fear for their lives.

Check out...etc etc etc

Your side has cornered the market on hate and it's not even close, and it usually manifests itself into violence.

Joe was the First president to do it. Period. Trying to say otherwise and get into semantics about when he did it (2021) is disingenuous to the overall point. The point? This proclamation on Easter wouldn’t have happened if Joe didn’t do it in the first place.

Stop gaslighting.

It’s nonsense.

Simple questions you won’t answer….

1. Was Joe the first president to make a proclamation celebrating this tranny day?

2. If the answer is yes, did he make a proclamation for Easter for trannys as well?

3. Did Trump make this proclamation?

Yeah, that’s what I thought.
