Proud Dad Moment!
My youngest is a senior at Dacula HS. He decided he did not want to play his SR year after playing from the age of 6. Changed his mind wanted to come back and they started him in the 9 spot which is what I expected them to do. Worked his way up in the No 2 spot and has flirted with hitting one out about 5 times this season, all caught at the track.
Yesterday we are down two top of the 7th and our leadoff batter (Texas Commit) Reiston Durham hits a solo shot and then this happens. By the way its 330 down the line and 360 to the "Y-S" in the word Grayson in left center..........Dont ask me what happened to his helmet and on the first pitch they wanted him to bunt but it was a curve and he pulled back, thank the lord.......The rest is history as he blasted his first HS HR. We ended up winning as well. Most of you know our family is a huge baseball family so we were on cloud nine!!!
