Haven't they always served beer in the premium areas, last time I was there I was able to get beer?

See? And even if they did drink beer, it wouldn't be the watered down swill you get at football games. It would be some microbrew that costs 16 bucks and tastes like fruit.
Which division? According to ESPN there are 21 schools that sell alcohol at their stadiums.
From the same article: "The Southeastern Conference and the 23-school California State University system, for example, have policies banning alcohol from general seating areas."

If UF would just do the proper and honorable thing and bring back pass-outs, everything would be right with the world.
The Sky Boxes have always had private stock liquor (Scotch mostly).
Beer & Wine at Gator games, but ONLY for the RICH,,, (as usual).
You see, the ones that have been loyal and have truly built the program up over the last 100 years are just the uncouth swine that are only fit to sit on a hard, narrow aluminum bench, out in the blazing sun, or in the pouring rain, while drinking watered down sodas for $5.00 a pop.... (sure glad I'm one of the rich guys)

They started allowing alcohol in select areas a few years ago. Not sure when that started.
LOL I seen too many folks "BYOB" themselves with the little whiskey bottles. I seen one guy so slammed he fell into the box in the endzone area. Like we need more alcohol...
Yes, they have, the difference is now UF is selling it. Alcohol has been served in the premium areas "privately" for as long as I can remember
Did you read the article I posted above? Alcohol based stupidity went down when they started selling it at the stadiums. Probably because people didn't feel the need to get falling down drunk so they could be buzzed the whole game.
