Guthrie needs to move out of the lead off spot and Shwartz needs to move down as well.

I might even bench Shwartz in favor of Vasquez and let him watch from the bench and calm down.
Guthrie has been slumping for a while. Tonight he came up in a critical part of the game with runners on second and third and one out. On a 3-2 pitch, he swung at a ball 2 feet outside and bouncing in front of the plate. I can't believe he had his eyes open.
Love the kid, great second baseman, but shouldn't be batting leadoff right now.
With Guthrie and Martin struggling, it's puts a LOT of pressure on Bader, who has been swinging at some bad pitches and trying to do too much.
Our one and two hole hitters have GOT to start hitting or we are in trouble.
all that said, I believe we can make some noise in the Regionals if our pitching holds up.
