Not sure how I feel about this. It certainly makes sense in some aspects but this would drastically improve the capabilities of the Vietnamese Navy.

On the upside, it would scare the hell out of China as these two are natural enemies...and it placates Macron.

Why not let France donate them? I don't mind helping allies once in a while, but we are broke, and this asshole administration is making us broker.
