Anyone on here doing 3d printing?

There is a 3d printer that does metal ~$4K. (The MakerBot LABS GEN 2 ) it uses stainless steel wire. ( BASF Ultrafuse 316L Stainless Steel .)

If you do have a 3d printer does anyone have a good 3d scanner.

There might come a time where parts for certain items may need to be manufactured at home.
