He was fired from UCLA years ago. He is a terrible coach who puts together shyt staffs and does a lousy job of recruiting. I'm surprised he was able to land the job at Colorado.

Yeah, they are clearly struggling this season, but you have to wonder if there was something going on behind the scenes.... or perhaps Cryst and his AD had a falling out over the weekend?

Considering he's a Wisc alum and his overall record, you would think he had earned the right to try and turn things around.

As to Colorado, firing Dorrell was a no-brainer. That being said, they need to make a splash hire and show a commitment to FB or they'll be on the way to being permanently irrelevant.

Bird coach does have a husker & wiscy clause in his contract. His wife is from Omaha & he was a GA @ Corn. Also he was born & raised in Wisconsin. & coached UWWhitewater to nattys.
