Reports: UCF bringing back Scott Frost as its next head coach
The Knights went undefeated in 2017 under Frost.
Probably not a bad move for them. I think he may do alright in the Big 12 after a few years.
Frost will definitely get better athletes than he did while at Nebraska. Now that should be a concern among us fans if he out recruits Napier.
Nonetheless, UCF fans should be excited about the return of Frost, as he is a major upgrade from Josh Heupel and Gus Malzahn. I don't think he ever wanted to leave Orlando in the first place.
I'm hearing Bill Billichick is the frontrunner for the UNC job.I thought I read West Virginia thinking about bring rich rod back what is happening right now????
Very.
Maybe John Gruden? lolI'm hearing Bill Billichick is the frontrunner for the UNC job.
He will certainly energize them after what he did there before but with NIL it's a different game. It's not a lock that he's going to do the same thing again. Also not that the Big 12 is a bunch of world beaters but they certainly aren't the American/USA Conference or whatever they were in before when he was there. The games are going to be tougher.Frost is an upgrade and will energize them.
Gus could never get it going…and he whiffed totally on Jefferson…
The time he started at Nebraska, Frost brought his entire coaching staff, citing that he wanted to make sure they had jobs, rather than upgrading his staff. Hopefully he learned from his mistakes. At the time was interviewed at UF, there were others sitting with Frost and AD Stricklin asking him about upgrading his staff had he been hired in Gainesville. Right then, they knew he was not yet ready for a bigger gig like UF.He will certainly energize them after what he did there before but with NIL it's a different game. He’s waiting for the Tennessee job to open up again…Maybe John Gruden? lol
