Another boycott

Corporations don't give a crap about anything but money.

The woke crowd has money too. They probably figure the new money they attract will outweigh whatever money they lose from attempted boycotts.

They would be wrong. They sip soy lattes and drink White Claws. 😂 Unreal how half a century of building a brand was destroyed with a single Transheiser Can.

This ad won't cause a boycott. I don't know a single person who drinks that stuff anyway. Have a few friends who drank Budlight and Stella. All have dropped those brands but one Stella guy and if you saw his daughter you'd understand.
I just don’t get letting other people dictate what you do, but whatever

It's not working for Bud Light. To the tune of tens of millions of dollars in lost sales.

You have to know your customer base. Wokesters most likely are not drinking much "mainstream" beer like Bud and Miller. I'm in a completely different industry, but my guess is their products are consumed in the highest percentages by middle-class working aged men, college students and lower income adults.

Of those three contingents I'd assume only College students were ok with their failed endorsement.

And chicks without clothes on has worked for years for beer companies...there's a reason for that. Same reason you still see Makita ads in lumberyards with scantily clad models. It makes a certain demo look and take note of the brand.

I went with a buddy to a local craft house. Looking at the menu, they all sounded horrible. I just asked the dude to give me the beer that most non-craft drinkers somewhat enjoy.

I'm pretty sure he poured me a pint of his used motor oil.

Your buddy took you to the wrong place. In fairness, I drink IPAs, but you can find a good lager or Pilsner at a local brewery.

Yuengling is essential a mass produced craft beer.

Clearly I like beer. Basically, I prefer local food and beer. Generally way better than the corporate stuff.

And for the record, I don’t have a waxy mustache or dress like a douche.

I honestly agree with your premise. I don't think that I'm a beer lover. I enjoy Ultra and that's not really beer according to connoisseurs.

Whatever it is, it works for me. Whatever the craft houses serve does not. I don't enjoy collard greens either but that doesn't mean that collard green lovers are wrong. 😂

I suppose but good lord

Just stop pushing a political or social agenda. Just make and sell beer. This is especially true when the vast majority of the people who consume your product disagree with your agenda.

This feels obvious.

And again, I don't give a tinkers dam if you're gay or transgender. You do you...but I'm sick of hearing about it.

Mustard greens are where it's at.

I think they should do whatever they think is best for selling their beer whether it be girls in bikinis or American flags whatever the virtue signalnthey choose is their business. They will reap rewards or pay the price.

Who said otherwise? They are free to make stupid choices...clearly.

Similarly it's probably a bad idea to use the beer advertising model to sell tampons or cold cream. But to your point, if they want to...have at it. lol

Correct. Some are very good, and I like light tasting beers. Not chewy stuff
