That was the major air base for getting into and out of Al-Anbar back when I served. I spent four weeks there, two weeks waiting to get flown in country and two weeks waiting to get flown out to Camp Victory. Crazy to think that they just fired 15 ballistic missiles at that bass. Also find it very interesting that all 15 missiles either didn’t work or missed, almost like they were trying to miss. Trying to save face.
