Agree. Everything in this country has become so politicized. Sports used to be the one thing where we could all escape for a couple of hours, have fun watching people play a GAME they love and not worry about all the problems in the world. And now ESPN (whose lifeblood is football) is just another liberal bastion harping on the PC crap nonstop. They side with Kaepernick and the like, they jump all over every CTE report like they want to destroy the game in the name of "righteousness". But the effect on the sheep in this country is that fewer and fewer parents are allowing their kids to participate in sports, especially football. Where will it end? When football is abolished and the soccer players have to wear helmets because a "header" might do damage? Crazy.

It's the level of consequences that is the issue. God sees sin as sin, regardless of how we categorize it. It separates us from Him. But there are consequences that must be suffered in this life for the sins we commit and some are worse or greater for some than for others.
