Blacks commit more than their statistical 'fair share' of crimes.

Those and other stereotypes are based on reality. I shouldn't have to say this but, OBVIOUSLY, the stereotypes don't fit every single person in the group.

2. That isn’t a stereotype, since it can be measured. It doesn’t mean they are more intelligent, however, as there are other factors that contribute to that. There is also a wide variance.
3. Same as 2. That’s not a stereotype, as it can be verified. There are also other factors involved, such as poverty levels. What would be incorrect is saying that black people are more violent.

So the difference is whether you apply generalizations to any specific group based on genetic characteristics, or life circumstances. There is too much variance to make them meaningful.

I understand why you don't like stereotypes but they are here to stay. It's human nature. Best you can hope for is that they will evolve.....but that will take decades.

Liberals always need to section off people so they can make a case for how they have been 'victimized'.
