And sexism..............
With everything in the news about racism...and the Left going bat-chit crazy over it...I thought (for about two whole minutes) on the subject and here's what I came up with:
I have to wonder how the Left would react if blacks or hispanics were the dominant race (by population) and if things were the opposite to where whites were the aggrieved race...would the Left see things any different?
From what I've read/understood...as long as there has been humanity...there has been racism, oppression, favoritism, etc...nor do I believe this can or will ever change...about the only way racism can/will ever end, IMO, is that all living human beings must be chipped (in the brains) via Artificial Intelligence to where most (if not all folks) pretty much stop thinking or stop emoting.
In my life...I've been told and have heard and have read that everything wrong in this world comes back to "whiteness," "white patriarchy," "white privilege,"...and anything else closely related.
But you never (or almost never) hear of any other race or gender making colossal screw ups...as you and I know they have and they do...nor do you hear to any great truth of how these other races actually treat others within said race...and quite often, the results are horrendous.
On the sexism issue...the Left speaks about a "woman's choice" to control her body...nor, do I see anything said/written/opined other than women's issues/rights...and nothing about men's rights...as I see it...a woman becomes pregnant through intercourse, artificial insemination, or perhaps the "great fairy" came along and deemed her suitable for motherhood (or lack, thereof)...but since somewhere, in absence of the great fairy or stork, men figure into pregnancy every time there is a pregnancy.
So...where are the reproductive rights for men?...and since men do not take time off work for their "periods"...or get/become pregnant...and it's the other non-pregnant workers that have to pick up the slack during times of maternity leave, I don't see where women should necessarily get equal pay with men...otherwise, if they (the women) do...that's sexism against men.
