Not seeing this mentioned anywhere (or maybe it’s buried in another thread), so I’ll add it here…
Having another coaching search at the same time as LSU and USC is not ideal. Further, I don’t know that I feel strongly about any other candidate out there…
If Dan continues on his trajectory and is out next year, it’s possible we are the lone major program looking for a coach and have a larger body of work for vetting potential candidates.
There are certainly counters to this position, but I still think it’s worth mentioning.
