Don't be surprised if during the bye week we hear that the QB position is "open" and he will make a decision based on who has the best two weeks of practice. He needs Jones to stay the entire year, none of the other guys are ready to be the backup, so he has to keep him happy for a couple more weeks.

Also, anyone surprised he supported Grantham really doesn't understand anything about managing people. In fact,his response was far more tepid than I thought it would be. The "we constantly evaluate" is a neutral comment; I would have expected something along the lines of "Todd is our DC and has my full support".

Everybody just needs to calm down. This is a lost year, but next year is shaping up nicely. We will have a new DC and Richardson starting at QB.

Sorry man but I feel like I'm in the 80's again with the "wait till next year" everything that has gone wrong is the fault of his own. MuLLLen has been coaching over a decade, his list of accomplishments are 1 division title, one week ranked #1, and 3 moral victories vs Bama. Less than Les Miles, Gus Malzhan, Gene Chizik, Ed O and Kirby Smart.

In that interview, he said we constantly evaluate but that his perspective on Grantham doesn't change.

Which seems rather contradictory or conflicting, but how much of it being coach speak will play out in the off-season.

The last 3 years we played in NY6 bowls so just 1 of those were in the state. I didn’t look beyond that. Obviously as it has been said there is also a good amount of bowls in Florida that also have ties to the SEC (Outback, Citrus & Gator Bowls).

Yes correct because the lower tier bowls know it is just better to get the local teams to try and get some revenue.
