23 Clemson football players test positive for COVID-19

In a statement released by the school, Clemson announced that 28 of the 315 tests that had been conducted on players had come back positive. According to Matt Connolly of The State, 23 of those positive tests came from athletes on the football team.

But of the 87 Univ Florida football players returning for on-campus workouts that began Monday, 80 tested negative for the virus, while the results of seven tests are pending.

Wonder why the Gators still have 7 tests unaccounted for. Hope they are not positive !

Iowa is the only state that plays high school sports in the summer, baseball and softball.
So those sports started June 1. Currently in Iowa 5 High School baseball teams have been shut down for a two week quarantine. Today more are being added to that list. A few schools didn’t even start up because of local numbers. This was supposed to be the test run for future high school and college sports in Iowa and it isn’t going well a few weeks into it.

A high school baseball game in Iowa was stopped in the third inning as a school administrator got news of a player that had a positive test. Teams are now shut down for two weeks.

Before the vaccine was formulated, parents who had a child catch chicken pox would put their other kids together with them so everybody would catch it. In fact, other parents would send their kids over to play with the sick child so they could get it as well. This was because people who get it as a child don't get it as an adult, and it's a much worse disease when you are an adult, so sending their child to get sick was actually in the child's best interest. A parent can make that decision for their child.

But none of these kids are Dabo's kids, and in fact are all adults, and purposefully exposing them to a potentially deadly disease is grounds for a lawsuit, if not criminal charges (Unless they all agreed, in writing, to get COVID, which I doubt.). So, I'm thinking that didn't happen.

Funny thing is, my post really had nothing to do with COVID. It was about the legal aspect of transmitting a potentially deadly disease to an unknowing person.
