So that means the stimmy checks will be the TROJAN HORSE for them to also include another trillion or so that they can redistribute to their donors.

This will end up being a 6 trillion dollar bill. Wait. N. See.

And this is how they will keep doing this....introduce a spending bill....people say bullshit where's the money gonna come to cover it.....then they say hey look, we're gonna add more stimmy checks!

And they don't mention the additional pork that gets added.

Well that's the thing, they add the checks so then if you vote against it, your opponent has ready-made campaign ads against you for the next time you run: "Sen X voted against putting money in your bank that hard-working (insert name of state here)ians needed to feed their children".

If you're a dem up for re-election in 2022, you will vote for this all day. Hell some republicans in blue states up for re-election in 2022 might vote for it as well, for the same reason.

In the end, the poors like @BSC911 will just keep getting stimulus checks, and the rest of us will keep paying for it.

Same exact scheme as Obamacare, except this is the entire economy, not just health care.

Obamacare dictated what had to be covered then forced a certain price. Obviously this puts the squeeze on the insurance providers and the exchanges. The result was plans that made no economic sense being offered by fewer and fewer providers that couldn't make ends meet. The end goal was collapsing the insurance industry so a single payer was the only option.

Same deal here...spend so much money that the dollar inflates and the economy crashes. Ruin personal and corporate wealth so we only have one choice for the top of Maslow's hierarchy of needs. Once the gov't is the sole provider of food and shelter the leftists won't ever be challenged again.

I may have to tighten the belt a bit more due to higher prices at the pump but I chose to drive a big gas guzzling V-8 so I'm not about to back down now.
I have a beautiful RecTec pellet smoker in my garage, as meat prices go up the pellets I have will last longer because I won't be burning them.

It's not like we haven't had to go through something like this before, we survived in the past and I suspect we will survive in the future.

One thing I keep telling my wife is that if the money was there I would be making a move somewhere in the Bahamas. Plenty of ways to survive off the ocean and off the grid.

Heard on the news earlier that this is the dems' latest attempt at Universal Basic Income. But they know fiscal conservatives and critical thinkers push back on that, so they are simply calling it covid relief. But the end goal is for the payments to be recurring and basically be the same thing as a UBI.

I know the dems and millennials think this is an amazing idea. That's because they think emotionally, not critically.

Let's say the dems approve a plan to give every American $5,000 a month UBI. Now for all the posturing that certain dem posters here do, we all know that $60,000 a year salary would be a decent raise for them.

IOW, they would love this.

What does a drug dealer do? He gives you the first hit for free. Gets you addicted, then suddenly....he starts charging. And the more you need the drug, the more expensive it becomes.

Dems want to do the same thing. Give you $60k a year, get you completely dependent on that $60k a year to survive.

You get the first year for free. Then, they start adding conditions if you want to keep receiving the money. You have to do this, or give up this freedom or do that.
