2024 Bowl Games

Bowl games are so terrible because of all the opt outs. I watched G tech like 4 times this yr, they played the bowl game without their top players and it was noticeable. I can't help but think most teams will do this.

And that’s the thing with bowl games … it’s all about momentum. The great thing about Florida is this is the first time Napier has all this positive mojo between a 4 game win streak including a bowl win, a heisman quality qb returning, a top 10 recruiting class and many SEC peers heading in the opposite direction (Alabama, Tennessee, LSU, A&M, Oklahoma).

Looks like things arent well at Rocky Top since their last game

They seriously owned Ga Tech. I was surprised. That ain't my Grand Pappy's Vandy anymore.
It’s Pavia…he is generational…without him they will suck again…

Then again, with all the NCAA lawsuits and exemptions being granted, he’ll probably still be starting for Vandy when he is in his 40’s…

Isn't there still a rule that you have to be in school? In a degree program? That would be a hurdle to a long college career, I would think.

Good job Gators being the ONLY team from the Big 3 in the state FLORIDA to win your bowl game. 👍

I've always seen Shilo as the least doosh among the Sanders family, but he's made a fool of himself in the 1st half.

USF won theirs.
I didnt even know USF was in a bowl so thank you for again for correcting me on that. So I will change and say of the Big 3 from Florida that Florida was the only winner.
Ward’s first touchdown pass of the night, a 4-yard strike to Jacolby George, was the 156th of his college career, breaking Case Keenum’s Division I record. Going for the record and playing only half the game was apparently worth the risk, more than giving his team its best chance at winning

Just listening to the idiot announcers drooling over Shee Sanders reminds me of back when Penn State waxed Tennessee, while Mark Jones and Tim Brant drooled over Heath Shuler as Penn State beat UT 31-13. She Sanders made mistakes all night but the announcers could only talk about what a great pro QB he'll be.

The fact that Cam Ward quit on his team tells you everything you need to know about his character.

But then again…just look at what these dudes are learning about life from the portal…it breeds quitters…so…not surprised…
Yeah - He either should have played the entire game or not played at all. It seems maybe he just wanted to break the passing record they were talking about. Talk about selfish.
