2024-25 Basketball,,, all things considered...

You just made me chuckle again. 😂 But the reality is, that scenario is just about a mirror image of what we're up against. We lost a front line player last year in the SEC tournament and it cost us a deeper run. Numbers will agree with me.
I just can't imagine a Todd Golden team not doing their best to win every game they play. Last year was a terrible break, but these guys want to win every time they take the floor and that's the way they're coached. I don't think it matters, though, whether or not we win the SEC tournament as far as NCAA seeding goes, but I would feel safer if we won our first game at least.
As an aside, looking at the bracket pairing, another reason I think we get the #1 seed in the West is because the West and South meet in the semifinals of the Final 4, meaning potentially us and Auburn. They won't want 2 SEC #1 seeds meeting for the national title.

Haugh wasn't given 6th man of the year and Golden wasn't given coach of the year even though he overperformed expectations. Condon was 3rd team but many people think he should have been 2nd team.

Sounds like they don't like us a lot.

Just having some fun to lighten up the day.... 😉

Gator PG Walter Clayton, on his senior night was 9-for-17 (5-for-11 from 3) with:
23 Pts, 8 Asts and 5 Rbs. That's outstanding! (but it would only be an average game for Caitlin Clark (19.2 Pt, 8.4 Ast, 5.7 Rbs, 1.3 Stl, 0.7 Blk) ....
😉
======

I'd be hopeful for the Gators having a chance of winning the NC, except for this:
The I-wish-dogpoker told me repeatedly that the recruit ranking are critical to winning.

And so since the Gator B-Ballers have ZERO 5-stars and only ONE 4-star on the team, that means that they have no chance to be winners,
and I always go by whatever the sports genius types tell me............. 🙄

Chinlyeu isn't exactly what Samuel was for us last season, but he's been an excellent replacement for Samuel.
Chinyelu is a vacuum on that glass though, he's become a much bigger piece than I ever thought he would. He defends, blocks shots and has started to score more.. When he's in double figures it's just another like how do you even beat this team thing when you look at the stat sheet.

And Chin knocked down those 2 foul shots on the reversed Flagrant Foul call....
