When we don't make careless unforced turnovers, we are very difficult to beat.
Just a GREAT road win for the Gators. Alabama is an excellent team that shoots the ball extremely well and can score in all kinds of ways. Sears is a legit All-American. But we dominated the boards and that made all the difference tonight. We had more turnovers than them and they had more assists than us. They shot 3's better than us. But we had more 2nd chance points and more fast break points. Condon was awesome and the TEAM played well together inspite of a bunch of bad passes where they were trying for dunks or layups. Can't complain about much of anything when you win on the road against a Top 10 team. Another resume' builder in trying to earn a #1 seed.

I've already said it before I'd rather us be a 2 seed. Next up is to beat Ole Miss as they just beat TN. I just hope Lunardi is wrong as usual. He now has us a 1 seed in the west again.
Not sure how that would work. I would think us #1 in Midwest and Houston #1 in West but Indy is closer to Houston than San Fran actually.

Yep. 8 in the first half and only 2 in the second half. Golden said at halftime that the "lazy" turnovers were a problem. We had 9 players score tonight. Impressive.
Beard is a great coach. His personal character is somewhat questionable, but the guy wins everywhere he goes.
It's just insane because we STILL haven't played a complete game in a long time, and we just keep averaging 85 plus when you look up.. If we ever have a game where Martin, Clayton and Richard are all going off God bless the other team.. But it always comes from somewhere, Condon absolutely dominated them the way Samuel did for us against them down low all 3 times down low.. We are pessimistic by nature as Gator fans but the more you watch this team, it's just gonna take a GOLIATH situation to wipe us out in the Tournament.. A 26 point lead on the road wasn't safe with a team shooting 80% from the floor and 3 for a half, our entire team would basically have to be on the take to blow it.. Think about it, the two teams we just played are legit and you might not face teams even that good until you get to a regional Final as a 1 or 2 seed out of our conference.. If this team doesn't make the Final Four in the Alamodome it will be heart breaking, every player on this team deserves the chance to play on that stage..
If it's not Nate Oats going to UNC, Chris Beard is another candidate to replace Davus at UNC, and the Tar Heel faithful have been wanting to get rid of him before they lost to UF. Texas shouldn't have been so quick to pull the trigger on him and let his investigation play out.
Not sure if we get the Midwest or West if we take care of business against Ole Miss but since we can't play an SEC #2 seed in the bracket it looks like we will get either Texas Tech, Wisconsin or Michigan State as the #2 seed in our region at this point.

Not sure I would want to see KY in the Sweet 16. I think it's clear how to defend them now but a team that can hit 3s like that is always dangerous.

Five minutes into the game I said to my better half, that this looked like a win either way would be by around a 5 Pts spread.
I also said that FT shooting in the final 2 minutes could be the difference in the game.
Best played game by both teams that I've watched all year.
Refs made some calls that I thought were questionable, but for SEC refs at least, they weren't that bad....
I thought that they made a couple of calls trying to keep the red-turds in the game, but they didn't make calls to give the game to them.
PS - I'll just leave all of the IF'eeee's to the mother IF'eerrss, while I wait to see what happens... 🙄

Agreed. This was a great game to watch. Very few “reviews.” Oates calling a TO with 1.7 seconds left and down by five makes no sense. And how about screwing the seniors on senior night by honoring them after the place emptied?

Well I’m not sure if Todd Golden is great at identifying talent or how to extract it when he gets them on campus. At any rate he’s damn good at both. And not too bad at game day coaching either.

She's a life long Gator from a Gator family with season football tickets.
We watch many of the Gator's sports together and have gone to a lot of games over our lifetimes, with our kids back in the day.
The nice thing for me is that she actually knows what's going on in every sport....
